Abney Park Cemetery Trust
Abney Park in Stoke Newington, one of the ‘magnificent seven’ garden cemeteries of London, is a woodland memorial park and Local Nature Reserve, managed by the Abney Park Trust.
We offer free public access throughout the year so everyone can come and enjoy this oasis of peace and greenery with a fascinating history.
Take a guided walk, learn how to carve a spoon or chisel stone, discover why seemingly dead trees are cities for wildlife, or experience the magic of Abney after dark at one of our unique events.
The Trust relies on grants from the local council and other bodies as well as charitable donations. We also rely on volunteers to help us maintain this unique site and keep it open to all at no charge. We're always happy to hear from anyone who would like to help, so please do get in touch if you want to be a part of magical Abney.
